the Process
Before the shoot
Once you reach out, we'll begin planning your session together. We'll talk through your vision, choose a location that feels right for you, and discuss any details or questions you may have along the way. Whether you need help selecting outfits, deciding on a setting, or simply knowing what to expect, I'm here to guide you through the process so you can feel confident and excited leading up to your session.
Shooting Day
The best photographs happen when you're focused on enjoying the experience rather than worrying about the camera. I'll guide you throughout the session while keeping things relaxed and comfortable. There's no pressure to be perfect—just come as you are. My goal is to create an experience that feels easy and enjoyable while documenting this chapter of your life with care.
After the shoot
After your session, I'll carefully edit your images and deliver them in a private online gallery within 2–3 weeks. From there, you'll be able to download, share, and print your photographs with ease.
My hope is that years from now, these images bring you right back to this chapter—the people you loved, the life you were building, and the moments you never want to forget.

Do you help with planning locations, timing, or direction for the session?
Yes. You don't have to have everything figured out before reaching out. I'll help with location recommendations, timing, outfit suggestions, and any questions that come up along the way. During your session, I'll guide you when needed so you can focus less on the camera and more on enjoying the experience.
What happens if the weather doesn't cooperate?
New England weather can be unpredictable. If conditions aren't suitable for your session, we'll reschedule for a new date at no additional cost.
What if I don't see a package that fits what I'm looking for?
Every story is a little different. If none of the listed packages feel quite right, reach out and tell me more about what you have in mind. I'd be happy to create a custom experience tailored to your needs.
Do you travel?
Yes. I photograph sessions throughout Cheshire County and surrounding areas. Travel beyond my standard service area may require an additional travel fee.
How long will it take to receive our photos?
Most galleries are delivered within 3–4 weeks. Weddings and larger events may require additional editing time. I take great care in editing each gallery to ensure every image reflects the quality and style of Hearth & Honey Photography.
How many photos will we receive?
The number of images depends on the type of session you've booked. Each package includes a range of professionally edited images, and you'll receive the strongest photographs from your session carefully selected and edited by hand.
Can we bring our dog?
Yes! Pets are welcome whenever the location allows it. They're often an important part of the family, and I'm always happy to include them in your session.
